Is it 'right'?

We were discussing a charity organisation recently. This organisation has more than one thousand children in urgent need of sponsorship.

What we felt was odd was how it allowed sponsors to choose the gender, age, and country of origin of the child. After you make your 'choice', they will 'assign' a child to you, showing you their photographs, hobbies, age, gender, and country of origin.

We wondered what will happen to those children with less than likeable faces. Isn't your 'choice' about doing something for one of these children, regardless of who they are?
