The tale

See those things back there?

Those are Jacaranda trees.

Once, when I was wet behind the ears in my first semester at UQ, I was given the warning. You see, there's a tale behind the awesomely purple trees. It was said that once the purple starts blooming, you should already be mugging for your assignments and exams.

If the flowers start falling, and you're still mucking around, good luck.

I risked my future to take this photo for you because if the darn purple falls onto you, the curse will make you fail your exams.

The only thing left to do now is reach for the sky. No, the stubby fingers are not mine.
